俄罗斯素有东正教所特别强调的同舟共济传统,重融合和普世大同的理想。这种倾向在霍米亚科夫、索洛维耶夫等思想家的作品中曾得到全面阐发。这种传统精神也深深影响着俄国历史发展的走向。纵观俄国发展的历史,基辅罗斯时期弗拉基米尔大公接受基督教,使俄国融入基督教文化圈,从而为早期罗斯的发展提供了强大动力;七百年后,当俄国的中世纪晚期文化面临全面危机时,彼得大帝向西方学习的方针政策使这个国家最终摆脱混乱局面,逐步发展成欧洲强国。国与国之间的文化交流碰撞是历史发展的事实,也是未来国际不可回避的潮流,正视我们面对的选择,以健康心态吸收国外文化是我们的历史责任,融合而非对立才是我们的历史选择。

Russia has always had a tradition on which the Orthodox Eastern Church puts special stress: showing the mutual concern of the people in the same boat, and attaching importance to cultural mixture and universal harmony in the world. Such a tendency was elucidated comprehensively in the works by Khomyakov, Solov'yov, etc. The traditional spirit has also deeply influenced the trend of the historical development of Russia. Let's take a panoramic view of the history of Russia's development: in the period of Kiev Russ, Vladimir II Monomakh (grand prince of Kiev) accepted Christianity, integrating Russia into the cultural circle of Christianity and providing a strong motive force for the development of early Russ; 700 years later, when the Russian culture in the late Middle Ages was faced with a total crisis, the policies adopted by Peter the Great in learning from the West brought the country out of the muddled situation, and made it develop into a European power. The international cultural exchanges and impact have become facts of historical developments and will be trends which can't be evaded by the international society in the future. It is our historical duty to face up to the choice with which we are confronted and absorb foreign cultures in a healthy mentality; and mixture rather than antagonism should be our historical choice.
