As the masterpiece of Bakhtin's poetics, Problems of Dostoevsky's Poetics reflects the author's unique research method and theoretical awareness. The author's positive understanding of art form and art thought as well as the historical poetics-cultural poetics and dialogue-dialogism has helped him to extract the literary theory from novel, and at the same time to turn Dostoevsky's poetics into his own poetics. Nowadays we advocate extracting the literary theory from the vivid Contemporary Literature for the construction of literary theory, which can be inspired by Bakhtin's consciousness of problems and his methods.
