《圣经》对俄罗斯文学的影响可以溯源至古代俄罗斯文学。莱蒙托夫作为19世纪的经典作家之一,其创作同样反映了圣经影响之印记。其中显在的对圣经人名、地名的使用,圣经中某些章节的直接引用等;隐在的圣经主题,如堪比背负十字架的精神之痛、被拣选的使命感、传道书式的虚空等思想表达,彰显了莱蒙托夫矛盾的宗教观。

The influence of the Bible,which can be traced back to the ancient Russian literature,also found its way into the works of Lermontov,one of the classical writers in the 19 th century.The influence was explicitly shown in Lermontov's works through his simple use of biblical characters and places as well as through his direct citation of certain chapters from the Bible.Moreover,implicit biblical themes,such as the verbalizations of the spiritual agony as great as carrying a heavy cross can be,the sense of mission of being elected and the Ecclesiastes-like void,were also found in his works to highlight the contradictions of the writer' s religious view.
